Licence

What you own, in plain English.

This is the licence that ships in every kit as Licence.txt, laid out to read. It is short on purpose.

What you may do

You have an unlimited, worldwide, perpetual licence to use the kit for the business named on it. That includes commercial use: packaging, labels, signage, advertising, merchandise, your website, your social accounts, and the resale of your own products. You may modify the files. You owe no royalties and the licence does not expire.

What you may not do

You may not resell, redistribute or give away the kit or any of its files as a design product, template or asset pack, or use it to brand a business other than the one named on it. One business, one kit.

Trade marks

This is a copyright licence. It is not a trade-mark clearance. Before you file a trade-mark application, commission a search from a trade-mark attorney in your territory. We cannot warrant that your name or mark is available to register.

Fonts

The typefaces are licensed separately under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1, which travels with the font files in the kit. You may install and use them freely, including commercially. You may not sell the font files on their own.

Ornament

The ornament in your kit is either generated procedurally by us or traced from a public-domain plate. Its source is named in your kit (Ornament provenance) and on the kit’s page. Nothing in a kit is AI-generated imagery.

Exclusive kits

If you buy a kit with the Exclusive option, we retire that look from the shop at the moment of purchase and will not sell it again. Buyers who purchased the standard kit before that date keep their licence; the number of such buyers, if any, is stated on the kit page at the time you buy.

Refunds

If the kit is broken or materially different from what its page showed, email hello@brandarie.com within 14 days of purchase. We will fix it or refund it in full. Because every kit is generated to your name and delivered instantly, we cannot refund a change of mind.

Questions

A person replies to email
No. You type your business name, pick a look, and pay. Everything arrives finished. To change a label or add a product later you open the Studio — it works like a form, not like Photoshop.
